Giant Microbes
Want to get a great laugh and smile of thanks out of a youth or adult who goes nuts over anything that has to do with Science? Well this is the gift to get them this year! The Giant Microbes company has gone to town to make a plethora of stuffed microbes and cells to entertain any age! I could not believe my eyes when I saw how many different varieties they had created! They are just so adorable - and downright amusing I must say!
GIANTmicrobes is a company that makes plush "animals" that look like microbes, only they are MUCH bigger than the real microbe. They also make some body cells, too, like the white blood cell, the red blood cell, and the brain cell. GIANTmicrobes can be a fun learning tool. I encourage you to have fun browsing around the site and looking at all the different microbes they make! It's too fun!
They also have Christmas ornament boxed sets that contain 5 microbes and/or cells in each box. This is what we received in exchange for a review. It was so much fun trying to explain to my five year old daughter what all of these were - she was so intriqued! Then you have my 15 year old son who thought they were just the BOMB! (He loves Science.) He actually ran off with the catalog insert from the box that had all the different varieties and names of the different microbes that Giant Microbes makes. He got a real chuckle reading through all of them, then began to make his list of favorites he would like to have! They really are a fantastic gift - and great conversation piece or homeschool product to teach with. I think they are pretty cool myself. They are well made and very soft plush. Five Stars for a well made and extremely creative product!
The Christmas Ornament Set of Giant Microbes we received is going to be happily adorning our Christmas tree next week - we thought it would be hoot to wait til Gramma arrives and tell her we have some special ornaments for her to put on the tree this year. Can't wait for her reaction! Lol! Being teachers in this family, we get kind of geeky about educational products and love finding anything unique like this. Thanks Giant Microbes for the fun box of little plush ornaments! Everyone is going to enjoy them! :)
