I was given the privilege of reviewing one of these great Christian decals from EternalLifeGear.com. The owners of Eternal Life Gear are a super nice couple who have been called to share the Gospel and support missions and other ministries through the sales of their products. A portion of the proceeds from each sale are helping various ministries including sending a teen on a mission trip in December! 
The die-cut vinyl window decal I received for review is a high quality product. You can place it on your car window, laptop, music case for instruments, and loads of other places where you might like to proudly display your faith. The design is unique and cleverly created using various Christian symbols to form the letters in the words. It reaches both a younger generation and people my age or older. (I'm 41, but don't tell anybody! Lol) I would recommend this product to anyone interested in a cool way to display what they believe. There are so many places you can use these decals. One guy on their Facebook fan page even put it on his surf board! Very clever! You can check out lots of great products on their website. Words 2 Remember 4 Kids Bible Quotes on Memory Cards have so much potential and practical use application to reach children and families right where they are - in their homes, on the road in the car, at church, at a Christian school, at Homeschool co-op, and more. There have been so many fabulous discussions started with my five year old daughter while using these Bible Memory Cards. She particularly likes the cards about friendship and caring for others with the purple border. Each set of cards that are highlighted at the top with a special color are specifically designed to follow a virtue or character trait for its theme. The one at the top of the page is about courage. These are great lessons to talk about with your children and it opens up the conversation to share true heart to heart matters that your child might not have otherwise expressed.

Here are a few key details from the Words2Remember4Kids website that you might like to know:

• Age group - pre-school to elementary school. Even a baby will enjoy the pictures and soon learn the messages!

It's a constant reminder of the joy of reading God's Word and that memorizing Scripture can be fun!

As frugality becomes increasingly mainstream, more U.S. adults are embracing coupon use on dates. A new CouponCabin survey reveals that more than one-quarter of U.S. adults report they have used a coupon on a first date, up from 18 percent who said the same last year. In addition, more than one-quarter said that they would have a positive reaction to their date using a coupon to help pay for a first date. This survey was conducted online nationwide by Harris Interactive on behalf of CouponCabin.com from September 17th – 19th, 2012 among 2,346 U.S. adults aged 18 and older.

Thriftiness is not the turnoff that it might have been in the past. In fact, nearly three-in-four U.S. adults said that if their date used a coupon, they would stay on the date and go out with them again.

“The economic challenges of the past few years have made many people more comfortable with frugality, so much so that it’s part of the dating scene now,” said Jackie Warrick, President and Chief Savings Officer at CouponCabin.com. “Not only does using a coupon benefit your budget, it also shows your date you are mindful of your finances and a savvy person overall, both of which are positives when you’re meeting someone for the first time.”

If you have daughters - or if you're female - you can probably get behind the idea of the UN's International Day of the Girl tomorrow, October 11th. GirlUp is on a mission to give girls in the US the tools to become global leaders by channeling their energy into programs to help girls struggling around the world.

For example, in Guatemala, girls make up the majority of the unschooled population. Instead, they spend time doing domestic chores and caring for younger siblings, and are more likely to be illiterate and experience child marriage and unplanned pregnancy. Many girls are victims of human trafficking, and because girls are low priority - especially rural indigenous girls - crimes are never solved.

In Malawi, child marriage is also a problem, which contributes to a high rate of adolescent pregnancies. Many families marry off girls in the hopes of giving them a better life, or as a payment for borrowed debt. Malawi is 9th in terms of HIV infection, with girls being four times more likely to be infected as boys. Girl Up is currently running a campaign to stop early marriages and to build youth-friendly health clinics to make sure girls receive appropriate health information.

Fabulous looks for Fall with No Nonsense

It's early on a Sunday morning and my five year old daughter is happily playing with her baby brother after enjoying her breakfast. "It's time to get ready for church", I called to her. Let's try on a new dress and use the beautiful new Flexi clip for your hair that you got in the mail from Lilla Rose with Kathy Allison!
She instantly jumped up and ran to the bathroom to get her new fairy Flexi clip, giggling along the way with the anticipation of getting all dressed up.
She came out carrying both her fairy Flexi clip and mommy's new purple Flexi clip and asked if she could try them both on to see which one she wanted to wear today. We got her dressed in a lovely new black gown with lots of frills and then proceeded to add the Lilla Rose Flexi clip to her hair so she could feel extra special! We started with the fairy Flexi clip which we got in a size x-small for her fine straight hair. We pulled her hair back into a ponytail style and added the clip. It gave the appearance of long elegant hair with a gorgeous flash of sparkles on this fairy hair accessory from Lilla Rose.


Next we tried pulling all her hair up in a bun on her head with a twist effect so there was no hair hanging down the back of her neck. We used my purple Flexi clip which is s size small. It did a good job keeping all her hair up as her little brother chased her around the room back and forth and they danced to some music on one of his little toys. Her hair could bounce and jiggle, but the Lilla Rose Flexi clip did not come out! What a great test of this wonderful product! She had a bit of a looser bun when she was done dancing, but the joy of this great hair accessory is that it stays in and it is easy to adjust and redo if necessary. :) My daughter has lost tons of barretts and clips when out and about simply because their cheap design could not hold her hair when actively playing with her friends. I love this Lilla Rose Flexi clip!

I also tried the Lilla Rose Flexi clip in the purple small size and pulled back some of my long sides to get it out of my face. This helps alot for while I'm working on the computer, assisting at church teaching the little ones in Awanas or nursery, and when cooking meals. Besides ...who doesn't want to have worry free hair that looks fashionable and stylish all with the use of a simple hair accessory? I also discovered that I could wear my hair up in a Flexi clip longer than any other hair accessory or pony tail holder since I used to get headaches from having my hair up. Consumer Critique: Love Anthony

Love Anthony is a heartwarming book with an accurate portrayal of autism. The book's main character is grieving the loss of her autistic son, who meets a woman who recently found out her husband had an affair. The friendship that results helps her make sense of his life and understand his thoughts.

The book is written by Lisa Genova, a neuroscientist who has moved to the literary world, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge about the way the brain works. But instead of sounding purely scientific, the book is well-written. The portrayal of autism may be spot on for some, and not for others - every person with autism is different, and the way autism manifests itself in differently people is different - but it is a good eye-opening insight for people who may not have experience with autism. It can also be a great read for someone who does have a child with autism, because in the character's journey, they may be able to understand their own as well.

One of my friends recently adopted a child with cleft lip and palate, and is in the process of adopting a second. It is a relatively easy fix for most kids, but it is major surgery and can be expensive. Charities like Operation Smile are able to help eliminate the cost burden for many people - since 1982, they've done 2 million evaluations and 200,000 surgeries.
