A first impression of anything is always important, right? Well I thought this glimpse from afar of the Halloween Brick or Treat coming to Legoland looked adorable! Just thought I would share a quick sneak peak for you and I'll be bringing you more up close and personal details once the Brick or Treat has officially started this weekend. :) The park will be open for Brick or Treat events starting this Saturday, Oct 6. This fun family-friendly event will be available each Saturday in October from 10am-9pm and on Sundays from 10am-5pm.

There is basically one way in and one way out of this trick or treating trail at Legoland, FL which starts down by the Pirates Cove south entrance at 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The kids should have loads of fun!
There is even a stage set up right now that was never there before, so they must be planning to use it for some sort of entertainment or announcements during the Brick or Treat Weekends.

Here are some of the details as shared from the Legoland, FL website:
"Guests can enjoy safe and family-friendly Halloween festivities every Saturday and Sunday this October.
Ghouls, ghosts and goblins descend on Miniland USA transforming it into a haunted adventure with a scavenger hunt in search for these scary creatures that have invaded our famous cities.
This spooky, kooky event also features trick-or-treating along the brick-or-treat trail, build your own LEGO model activities, the largest LEGO Jack-O-Lantern in the world, Halloween entertainment and an all-kids costume contest with brick-tastic prizes!"

Activities Include:
· LEGO® Pumpkin Build: Build your own LEGO Pumpkin at the model activity station in the Wells Fargo Fun Town 4D Theatre Plaza
· LEGO® Monster Fighters Haunted Scavenger Hunt: Help the LEGO Monster Fighters capture monsters haunting the cities of Miniland USA in this haunted scavenger hunt. The whole family can enjoy searching for these creatures found in the over 30 million LEGO bricks that make up Miniland USA. With extended hours on Saturdays, Miniland USA gets a bit more spooky when the sun goes down and the fog rolls in on these LEGO cities.
· Brick-or-Treat Trail: Trick-or-Treat along the Brick-or-Treat trail near the Pirates South Stadium for goodies, tasty treats and other fun surprises
· Dance Party: Join us for our spooky Dance Party in the Haunted Miniland USA with a live DJ and dance games (Saturday only)
· Kids Costume Contest: Show off your BOO-tiful costumes in the Kids Costume Contest in the Wells Fargo Fun Town 4D Theatre Plaza to win brick-tastic prizes like LEGO product and tickets to LEGOLAND Florida. Children may enter one of 4 specialized categories: Heroes & Villains, LEGO Monster Fighters, LEGO Themed, and most Creative.

I know the following little tidbit of info has nothing to do with Brick or Treat, but it simply made me smile so I thought it might do the same for you and wanted to share it. Legoland doesn't miss a detail when it comes to making their park inviting and fun for the kids. That is one of the things I enjoy about this park. Check this picture out...even the mirrors in the public bathrooms at Legoland have Lego brick designs on them! They are too cute!

If you are planning to attend the Legoland Brick or Treat events or are coming for a vacation visit sometime soon, don't miss out on the chance to get some great gifts for the kids this holiday season while you are visiting. Some of these items are either hard to find or not available in stores at all. My daughter got very excited about the brand new Lego Monster Fighters sets they have at the park. She was hooked soon after we got to watch the trailor video on the 4D screen in the Legoland Theater. Here she is posed in front of a huge display in the main toy store near the entrance of Legoland. They look pretty cool!

More great Legoland posts coming soon bringing you all the fun from Brick or Treat events in October and other special holiday events at Legoland!

Many blessings,
Rebecca
